We are seeking an experienced Senior Export/Import Operations Consultant with proven skills across Export, Import, and Customs operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a well-established specialist freight forwarder that operates in niche markets, including Restricted Goods and Dangerous Goods.

Key Responsibilities
✅ Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries
✅ Prepare accurate job quotations
✅ Process operational Export and Import shipments
✅ Liaise with carriers, contractors, and internal teams
✅ Cost jobs and prepare invoices
✅ Occasionally assist with warehouse duties when needed
✅ Manage your own desk efficiently and maintain accurate records
Requirements

Experience in Export, Import, and Customs operations (essential)

Prior experience with Dangerous Goods and/or Restricted Goods (essential)

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

IT literate
Working Hours
🕘 Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 (1-hour lunch)
Salary & Benefits
💷 Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)
