A leading hygiene and healthcare company is seeking professional HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to join their team for nationwide deliveries. The role involves transporting essential hygiene and healthcare products safely and efficiently to distribution centres, hospitals, and commercial clients. ADR certification is highly desirable for transporting hazardous goods, though not essential.
The Role
- Safely operate an HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) vehicle for multi-drop and bulk deliveries.
- Ensure timely and professional transportation of hygiene and healthcare products across the UK.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Comply with tachograph regulations, road laws, and company policies.
- Load and unload goods when required, ensuring correct handling of materials.
- Follow ADR regulations when transporting dangerous goods (if applicable).
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
- Uphold high standards of customer service during deliveries.
Requirements:
✅ Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence.
✅ Driver CPC Qualification and Tachograph Card.
✅ ADR Certification (Advantageous) – Categories 2, 3, 6, 8, and 9 preferred.
✅ Previous multi-drop or bulk haulage experience (preferred but not essential).
✅ Knowledge of UK road transport laws and health & safety regulations.
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✅ Physically fit to assist with loading/unloading where required.
✅ Flexible approach to shift patterns, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
